Welcome to my art gallery!

I'm thrilled to share my passion for art with you, and I've organized my creations into categories based on the techniques I've explored over the years. Each technique has its own character. I've always preferred to have many techniques in my tool kit instead of just one or two. I love to have the possibility to choose the most suiting technique for each piece, even though it's sometimes difficult to choose the most suitable way of expressing my inner world.

On this page you can browse my artwork by the category. You can click the image to see it in full size. In the full size mode you can also read additional information about the piece.

Charcoal

Charcoal is a versatile medium that allows me to capture the depth and texture of my subjects with delicate light shades and bold dark tones. When using charcoal, I like to use charcoal dust and a brush to create very light, soft and blurry texture. I also love bringing more light to the drawings with a kneaded eraser, which you can find on the top of the mountains and in the brightest details.

Watercolour & Oil paintings

The delicate interplay of water and pigment allows me to capture the beauty of nature and its' different shades and shapes. In oil paintings the colors appear vivid and I want the texture to show. Green is the color, that I have the most hues in my palette. I'm in love with natural colors and earthly tones.

Etching and printmaking

Etching is a technique that allows me to create intricate and finely detailed prints. The process of etching the plate and printing the artwork is complicated, but still so rewarding. The aspect of reproducibility is fascinating, because it allows testing multiple different colour combinations on the same picture. It also means, that the same unique piece of art can be printed in a limited amount series. All these prints are handprinted by me with a press, and the plate is etched by myself.

Soft pastels

Soft pastels give my creations a rich and velvety texture, perfect for conveying the beauty of nature and the human-like creatures' form. Soft pastels work a lot like charcoal, but with colours. Drawing with soft pastels always results in stained fingers.

Ink & markers

My ink and marker work is an exploration of contrasts. Each stroke is a deliberate journey into the heart of storytelling, where the absence of color fosters a profound focus on form, texture and linework.
